We are pleased to announce that, from 28 March 2021, Bangkok Airways will resume the Phuket - Hat Yai (round trip) route:
- The outbound flight, PG298, departs Phuket Airport at 09.00hrs. and arrives Hat Yai Airport at 10.00hrs.
- The inbound flight, PG299, departs Hat Yai Airport at 10.35hrs. and arrives Phuket Airport at 11.35hrs.
In addition, the airline will also delay the planned new routes Bangkok - Khon Kaen (round trip) and Bangkok - Hat Yai (round trip) until 2022.

From 1 February 2021 onwards, Bangkok Airways will resume its direct services between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Trat and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Sukhothai routes
The resumed services between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Trat (roundtrip) and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Sukhothai (roundtrip) will make it a total of 7 destinations the airline services which are;
- Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Samui (roundtrip)
- Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Phuket (roundtrip)
- Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Krabi (roundtrip)
- Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Lampang (roundtrip)

Moreover, the airline will extend the temporary closure of its passenger lounges, service kiosks at all available airports as well as its ticketing office located on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road until 28 February 2021.
The airline would also like to announce the temporary operation hours for its three airports which are; Samui Airport, Sukhothai Airport and Trat Airport. The temporary operational hours will be effective from today until 27 March 2021.

Due to the current outbreak of the COVID-19 as well as the recent announcement from the Covid-19 Center for Situation Management (CCSA), Bangkok Airways will delay the planned opening of a new route, temporarily reducing flights to some destinations and temporarily closed all passenger lounges plus food kiosks from 8 January 2021 onwards, details are as follows:
1. New launch date for the three new routes:
Bangkok – Hat Yai (round-trip) will be launched on 1 April 2021
Bangkok – Khon Kaen (round-trip) will be launched on 1 May 2021
Bangkok – Mae Sot (Tak) (round-trip) will be launched on 1 June 2021 2.
2. Temporary suspended routes: (from 8-31 January 2021)

Bangkok – Samui domestic flights will be resumed from 15 May 2020 with social distancing practices (Updated: 18 May 2020)
Dear our valuable passengers,
We would like to announce that from 15 May 2020, Bangkok – Samui twice daily service will continue to operate with preventive and social distancing measures in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.
Passengers of the first flight resumption on 15 May will be provided with special face marks.
Measures including body temperature screening, requirement of wearing masks, onboard seat allocations with necessary distance… are applied in the airport.
In-flight meal service is suspended.
Passengers are not allowed to consume food and drink onboard.

Safety measures for passengers at Samui Airport to prevent the spread of Covid 19 (Updated: 11 May 2020)
Dear our passengers,
From May 15, Samui Airport will continue to operate to serve passengers. To prevent the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic and to ensure the highest level of safety for passengers and airport staffs, the airport will take precautions for all persons including passengers, airport staffs, airport cleaning measures; Safety measures for airport tenants and its employees.
In which, passengers will be required to fill out health declaration form by Samui Municipality at the port of origin and wear masks at all times during their journey.
Appropriate social distance in all service areas with with sign boards and floor markers to indicate necessary distance will be provided.
Screening points to check the body temperature for all passengers are arranged and wearing masks is mandatory before entering the terminal.
For arrival passengers, adequate alcohol-based hand sanitizers will be provided at all traffic areas.
Passengers should note to comply with the above measures when coming to / from Samui airport.

Additional preventative measure from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (Updated: 23 Mar 2020)

From March 18, 2020, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam notified that passport holders of ASEAN countries or other nationals who have been staying or transiting ASEAN countries within 14 days prior to the date of entry into Vietnam, will be required to have compulsory isolation for 14 days from the date of entry at designated areas by Vietnamese authorities.

Based on the regulations of the Vietnam Civil Aviation Administration on the use of masks on aircraft and at airports, we would like to inform customers of the following regulations when arriving to / departing from Vietnam:
- Passengers are required to equip with a mask and use a mask during the flight
- Passengers who do not equip themselves with masks before boarding for all domestic and international flights departing from Vietnam will be denied transportation.
This regulation will take effect from 00:00 on March 15, 2020.
